Magpul folks here is some feed back if interested.
So not long after they came out I ordered half a dozen 21 GL9s to use in my G17 and G34. I belong to a local gun club/Range and we have several different competitions that we host there. One is a stationary Bowling Pin shoot (Clear the table of pins in under 20 seconds, usally 4-8.5) and another they call PPDS, kind move and shoot kinda like a generic IDPA or type shoot.
I shoot both of those pretty regularly and also shoot suppressed at my steel plates.
Since I've had these PMags for my Glocks I've put several thousand rounds though them in all conditions and temperatures, several of them I've dropped on gravel and concrete a few times. I've yet to have a single FTF or any kind of malfunction using these mags. I'd say they function just as well as OE Glock mags. I wish they made them for the G21/.45 as I'd like to pick some up for it too...
I plan on ordering another dozen here soon.
Thanks for the great product.
Also, Side note, I had ordered a few (4 I think) of the 1st generation PMAG 17 GL9 from Brownell's to test out as they were cheaper and easier to find than OE Glock mags.
Not long after I had them, there was an issues discovered in the body of the mags with some of the compact or sub compact Glocks. I think it was either a feeding issue or a drop free issue....
Using my G17 and G34, I never once saw the issue, but Magpul (I guess through Brownell's) found out I had purchased them and shiped myself and I guess everyone who bought them, new mag bodies free of charge to correct the issue. I though that was top notch customer service and and perfect way to handle it.
Thanks again for great products and services!!!
