I got the V-Match and took it for a test drive today. I loaded up some 69gr SMK over 24.8gr Varget to 2.26" OAL in once fired brass and went to the range. Despite the super crappy Chinese no-name scope I had on it and the gritty and heavy trigger, I managed the following groups at 100 yards:
4 shot groups: 1.388", 1.244", and 1.051"
3 shot groups: .764", .585" and .524"
Don't ask about the odd number of shots fired per group. I only loaded 22 rounds of ammo, and I used the first one to foul the barrel.
The average of all groups is just a hair under 1MOA. I guess the Bushmaster guy was right on the money. With a better trigger and a better scope (target was a little fuzzy @ 100yds and I never could adjust out the parallax), I don't see why this rifle couldn't shoot a fairly consistent 1/2MOA.
Conclusion: Me likey!
