Just wanted to see who were the official winners were or if its super secret if they have been notified?

Um I'm pretty certain that he wasn't giving away any lowers, just an opportunity to purchase one.

Folks seem to be really confused about this.

First five 'how to assemble' videos for the rifle kits were each getting a free lower.

There were quite a few video's posted in the thread, (some of the Ultimate Ar15 upper kit, some not) but who knows how many of them followed all the steps.

I think the order so far was

Cameronatm1 (maybe spelled wrong)
Wangstang had the 2nd but he didn't use an upper kit (in all fairness I didn't see Marks second post either)
Kells81 was #3 but really 2nd
Judahunderhill would then take the #3 spot
Akethen should be #4
TSU45 should be #5

As they appeared which should be the order sent to mark. If someone didn't send an email to Mark the order will change.

.....He did say he was taking note of those who bought into the Ultimate Upper deal....and he also said he would send a lower to the first five people who made a 'how to' assembly video and sent him the link....Don't remember if it was this thread or the delivery thread or some other thread tho....

...What followed was a discussion on the possible 'new BuildAR list', whether the assembly video had to be of the UU kit, who sent what in which manner, vertical videos, clowns...no, strike that, no clowns in this thread....MLOK options, break shims, fitment of LT uppers to various lowers and sundry gnashing of teeth on when this or that kit would ship.....

Sorry just saw you asked this. I ordered an 18in 6.5 in UDE. I ordered 7/28, was charged 8/2 and it just shipped today (Monday). Should be here Thursday.

I really hope they have lowers they let us order. Some people are putting really nice lowers on these (Mega, Ssekins, etc) that normally would look awesome but the way the upper is cut there ends up being a "step" between the upper and the lower where the buffer tube threads are. I have no idea what we could but to not have that "step." If anyone does please let us know.

It's really a non issue imo. Once you get yours you'll see that it doesn't affect function in any way. Hell I can't see any "daylight" when I attach it to any of my other lowers, billet or forged. I think people just want something to talk about while they wait for kits to show up.

Speculation, I think. When the Stealth 2.0 BuildAR uppers were released in Q1, you could buy up to 2 each of the 3 available options (6 uppers max). When the lowers were offered in Q2, you could only order one lower.

Yeah I remember that. Looked around for another lower for a while.

I'm just hoping to have a shot at 7.62 lower and then one to match the FDE grendel upper. In retrospect I probably should have just bought the complete rifle.
