Dave, when do you think you'll have these in stock? True to my word, I'm going to pick up a trigger from you guys. And do these units "simply" drop in? Or will I need a gunsmith to install the trigger?
Thanks. |
I assume you mean the SSA (2 stage non-adjustable combat). It will be awhile. We just got a few in and i think we are working on about January back orders. Best thing to do, is go to the site and order one (by clicking on the "back Order" link under the trigger). This will put you on the list. Cards are not charged until the unit ships. Also, cancellation is only an email away, if you get tired of waiting.
Yeah, that's the one I'm looking at, the non-adjustable unit. I don't care about the wait, but how long do you expect it to be? 4-5 months? Or more? Plus, do these things just drop in? As long as the card isn't charged before the product is received that is cool with me.
That would be a good guess. And yes, they do just drop in (sorry, i forgot that on last post). |
Just ordered (1) trigger from you today true to my word! I think I shoulda ordered (2) though...
I got one from ADCO and although I cannot compare to other 2 stage triggers(never had one) this is a night day difference over the stocker. For under $150 Im glad I did the upgrade and yes I installed mine with nothing but a blunt object and a allen wrench for my KNS pins.
Also my first experience with ADCO and it was very positive |
Well, that is good to hear! Seems like this trigger is thing to have as it provides a great trigger pull and is EASY to install.
These triggers are great, I am impatiently waiting for the rest I have on back order.
Every order I have ever placed with ADCO has also been a positive experience |
The wait for the first one was nothing compared to waiting for the next.
This wait is killing me. I am on the list, order placed early March. Ouch.
i placed one in march as well. are they to february yet for the Back orders?
No, I am still waiting on 2 I ordered 1/12/08, which I hope to see soon. |
Just placed my order for the SSA so add my name to the ever growing list....
I just recieved shipping confirmation from ADCO could it be that my trigger is on its way? I can't wait.
I got mine today. Yay! It's first stage is a little longer than my LMT and it's second stage is considerably lighter. Sweet! |
ordered mine in Dec. and just installed tonight. Had two tears in my retina and 2+ hrs of surgery tuesday so hope to shoot soon. Thanx for hangin with me Steve.

We should keep this thread alive as moral support for those of us still on the list......
I off for two months or more so I'm ready to go to the range and try the new trigger out. All give a report when it happens.
Placed my order(#50790806) on July 9, 2008....guess it's gonna' be awhile.
Probably around 3 months |
I don't mind the wait. Plus, my stock trigger is starting to smooth out a little more.
Colt SSA triggers are over a year oube before production will even begin. |
I guess I'll just have to stick to my original order then and get the Colt triggers when they come out. Thanks. |

While I am waiting for my backorders I thought I would let everyone know that I ran my first SSA through Tactical Response's Fighting Rifle class, firing around 1200 rounds in 2 days with no trouble whatsoever

GOOD TO HEAR!! |
Late March '08. |

I just want to thank ADCO for my Geissele SSA trigger. I ordered in April and was just crawling up the walls to get this thing in the gun. Well, I just got it today and 10 min later it was in my gun and I could not be more impressed with it.
In fact, if I could have tried it first I would have paid 2x as much for it if I had too. First thing Monday morning I am off to the range to break it in and then Wednesday I am off to TR’s fighting rifle so I will be getting some good trigger time in with it. Thanks again ADCO! |
just jumped on the list!
i know it will be while ,but the wait will be worth it |
If you wanted to pay twice as much, you could have gotten the High Speed. |
Dang! I placed my order on August 2 I guess it will be one of my Christmas presents (and maybe a late one). Looks like the Geissele Hi-Speed Trigger is back ordered now, too. |

Click-N-Ship Notification Recieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the notification as well, order placed at the end of June!
Notification RECEIVED! And, I ordered another one today. Should see it, um, by December or January. LOL.
I just got my second installed today. The first one has been through 2500 rounds since I have gotten it. 2000 of those rounds were in a Defensive Edge course and a 10-8 course. I really like this trigger.
Just received mine! This trigger does look to be rugged by design, not much to break or loosen up.
ETA: I just finished installing the parts into a POF lower I am building up and I can say that this is a big improvement over the Timney I had before. I also had a Jewel 2 stage adjustable which while lighter in pull the Jewel just did not feel right for me. I can say that the Geissele has a strong hammer spring, it took a bit more to get the hammer in place and pinned than I am used to. I probably have a poor memory though, it has been a while since I have messed with AR stuff. I can say that this trigger has a better feel to it than anything else I have seen for an AR type, and the way it is built is simple and seems foolproof. I noticed that there is not any signifigant overtravel in the trigger after the hammer is released, I was a little concerned about this since there is no adjustment for overtravel. This trigger does not need any adjustable parts, and that is a good thing. |
Well worth the money, feels great, and way easy to install.
Can't wait for #2!!! |
around 4-5lbs. |
Can we please hurry with these before President Obama bans my AR. It would be nice to have this trigger for at least a few weeks.
Don't forget to vote. |
I can cancel your order if you want. Its pretty stupid to spend $150 on something you think is going to be taken away. |
I am sad to report the AR that I hope to install the trigger into has fallen into the Delaware River. Very tragic indeed.
