

If you don't have a flat bow the SD-C is a good choice. That being said, I like the SD-E for my precision guns :)

This is my throwback build featuring the MK1 Mod 0 rail. The aesthetics of the rail rival the MK4 Mod 0 and it is the most ergonomic of all the SMRs; though I prefer the weight balance of the MK4. However, since a 14.5" LW barrel mysteriously showed up on my bench, I decided it was a good time to revisit the MK1 Mod 0 and it balances nicely.

The original MK1 Mod 0 design was close to perfect. The only changes I would've made were to the barrel nut screws to be recessed like the Mod 1 and more relief cuts to lighten it up a bit. We've released a lot of variations of rails but as much as I stray, I still come back to the MK1 Mod 0 and the MK4 Mod 0; they are literally functional art. That being said, this MK8 is very nice and I think folks will really enjoy it.
