Is making one not possible? Or did you try and run into issues?

I was thinking something that slides onto a rail from the bottom side and mounts to the rail with one or two allenhead screws. It would allow a two-point sling to be fully ambi.

I know the gun might be able to flip from one side to another, but I think it would take a lot of bouncing around for the gun to flip like that.

Maybe there is other problems I'm not seeing - hadn't really put too much thought into it though.

i think the two point function is not for fighting purposes. more for stowing the weapon or for carrying. allowing for a quick fire in the two point, then to be put back to single point configuration for continuing the fire fight. that was my take from the Garcia guy at the SHOT booth. the front mount i believe he had was a CQD, but stated that Magpul was working on thier own, which upon completion might be considered for a "set" includeing the sling and bouth mounts....

what type of mount were they using for the front attachment at shot show?

See? Now it is imformation like that that helps me sleep at night... my only request it that it be mountable to MOE handguards.
