I have a question about how JT Distributing fills orders. I ordered a preban EM-4 kit for one of my preban receivers two weeks ago. Last week I called to check on the order and it was being held up for the 6-position M4 collapsible stocks. I was told it could ship immediately if I was willing to take a 4 position CAR stock instead. I decided I could wait since they were supposed to be in fairly soon and I preferred the M4 stock.
I called again today to check, and was told that the M4 stocks were in, but that it was being held up because the Fobus M33 foregrip I had requested (which was supposedly in stock last week) was now out of stock.
Are your orders only filled when all parts are in at the same time? I figured that the parts for orders would be pulled aside until all the parts were received and then shipped rather than waiting for the moment when all parts were in stock. With demand as high as it is, it could be a while before all the parts are in at the same time.
I have heard great things about JT Distributing and am hoping to use them to build up a couple more lowers after this first attempt. I know it has only been two weeks and am not trying to sound impatient (who isn't when waiting for preban parts :-)), but is this standard practice or a fluke?
Thanks.
