Did you all get some M3 PMags in stock this morning? Somebody said they ordered some, but I, and others never got an email notification. Bummer if we can't rely on the notifications.

They're working.
Two reasons why they may not be triggered: 1) The "threshold" to send them isn't met (so if we set it to 20 but only 2 becomes available, the email won't go out...that way if 1 AR57 lower frees up we don't email piss off the 999 people who can't order it in time). 2) It sells out before the email goes out. |

Are you guys limiting the amount each person can order? I just tried to order a few LPKs and by the time I put in my CC info it said they were out of stock...

Just saw it posted on slickguns like 30 minutes ago, clicked the link, added them to my cart and then went through checkout only to get an error....talk about frustrating. I am going to laugh my ass off when all of these idiots spending large amounts of money on this stuff 2nd hand realize how stupid they were when everything calms down and demand drops off.
Some jerkoff probably already has them listed on gunbroker for $150 each... |

It's not my call to make so I'll defer those decisions.
I will say that the average customer bought 1.6 LPKs and that orders of 3+ only represented 6.4% of the orders placed. Statistically, for the LPKs at least, I don't think a limit is necessary (but again, I don't make those calls). I will say that limits on some items are coming. |

6.4% of the orders, or 6.4% of the LPKs available? It could be 2 orders that bought 50% of the LPKs.
Dang, now I wish I was one of those 2 guys. Of course, the wife would have wondered why the bank was repo'ing the house while I am playing Scrooge McDuck in a wading pool of gun parts... |

6.4% of the orders accounted for 22% of the LPKs.
The numbers work for both sides of the argument, there's no denying that. ETA: In this specific case of today's Spikes LPKs that come in, the numbers (to me) don't justify limiting that item. CProducts mags, on the other hand... I love statistics like this and looking for trends and whatnot. If you think of "panic buying" as a ratio of: percentage of people buying ------------------------------------------ percentage of inventory bought that ratio is a lot worse when you look at 7.62x39 or CProducts mags. At least, I think that's the ratio you'd use...I never said math was my best subject

Well, if and when you get some lowers back in stock I believe my wife and I will both be placing orders. I need a few more and I should be set for life. The rest will be going to mybrother in law.n
Eta: I should clarify by saying ill personally be set for life for my own collection...not selling them for retarded prices... |
