In assembling an Aero lower I just received from Aero Precision I noted the selector was not lining up properly. The selector action is not as smooth as I'm used to. You can see that the selector hole or the selector detent hole were not drilled in the proper position. The same is noted with GI selector as well as a V7 titanium ambi selector.

Customer Service View Quote It's really nice to see that AP is being so responsive to issues posted. I'm on the verge of buying a AC-15 Carbine and AC' willingness to respond on this forum is a reason why. I also think that for a bit over $500 I'm getting a rifle that has everything I'm looking for in an AR (Parts quality wise). Just about all the reviews online give AP rifles great reviews. |

Couldn't agree with you more Regalgse. I appreciate the customer service reported here and other sites from AP. That was the main reason for my purchase of my AC-15 over other options. The rifle is top notch quality. I would definitely recommend AP. And if you need customer service, you got it.

I have seen far worse from other major companies. Shit happens, no matter how hard they try, some of these get out.
At the end of the day what matters is the customer service and replacing the bad product quickly for the user/builder. Aero has offered to do that. What more do you want? |

I overreacted. I should have given Aero the opportunity to fix the situation first before disparaging them on a public forum. I'll contact customer service today and give them the opportunity to fix this situation. I was in the middle of a build and was frustrated to see it delayed by an out of spec part. I even butchered a V7 titanium selector with a diamond tipped bit in an effort to make the lower work which added to my ire.
I have a flawless Aero non f/a upper. The lower was otherwise perfect and 12 grams lighter than another forged TDP lower I ended up using for my ultralight build. I'll update this thread with the outcome. ![]() |

Thanks for letting us take care of you. We can definitely understand your frustrations when trying to wrap up a build. Please PM me with any requests along the way. CS can potentially be quite busy so I will help grease the wheels to get this going faster for you if need be.

I'm sure Aero would have resolved this issue, however, given the low price of lowers this issue is no longer worth my time. I've resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

Things that make you go
![]() I've never had a problem with the Aero parts I've used. If I had, I would have given them the chance to make it right. If they offered a replacement, great. But if I chose not to accept it, then I would be the one responsible for that decision, not Aero. If they didn't make it right, then I would feel justified in potentially taking it to a public forum. However, if I actively prevent them from making it right, then I have absolutely no one to blame but myself. It's your money and you're happy. It's no longer Aero's problem. Sometimes people just don't want to be helped. |

Lowers are so cheap that the FFL fees to replace one make exchanges cost prohibitive for those who live in states where manufacturer replacements must go through an FFL.

At the very least the lower would have been a good candidate for a push button safety.
