Funny story, a few years back I read an article about a place in Washington state that called itself the crawfish capital of the world, no joke. There was a restaurant there serving a dozen "cooked", whatever that means, crawfish for $16. The spelling was crayfish in the ad.
I live in LA, as you can see, my first job was at a seafood restaurant, I was 15 years old, $1.10 an hour...learned to boil crawfish watching the old guys in the back of the store.
