Sirs, on my m4V1, I had to adjust the rear sight to the left approx 10-12 clicks from center to get it zeroed. I tried it with several rear sights including a DD a1.5 to confirm. I can actually visually see the fsb slightly canted to the left (from the shooters perspective).
I had my dealer, JR sports in Livermore Ca, return the upper for inspection/repair. Today I spoke with them and they said that it was sent back and was inspected and is within .00002 of dead center, and is being shipped back. Now, I'm no machinist, but that figure is NASA rocket science tolerances and I'm skeptical of that answer.
My question is, am I being shined here? What is considered normal for fsb canting? 5 clicks, 10, 20 on the rear?
Thank you for your time. I am impressed with the rifle, and DD's commitment to building an outstanding rifle. The left leaning fsb just doesn't seem normal to me on a 1.2K rifle.
Thanks
John
