I have no doubt that Bushmaster will correct the problem. The only issue is why the reluctance to correct the fundimental problem, of poor assembler training, for so many years. If you wont properly train your assemblers, then you will either ship a substandard product, or you will have a high QC reject rate. There is no excuse for any upper to leave the factory in the condition described in your first post. It's unacceptable becuase it is preventable. It's a simple QC check, test fire 3 rounds, reject any upper that doesnt shoot to center at 25M plus or minus 4 clicks.
