This is the 2nd time I've ordered parts from them. They tell me that they have the parts in stock, but they have pretty much told me straight out that they'll ship my order whenever they happen to get around to it...
I just ordered a couple of parts for my dad's rifle. They told me "Okay <typing sounds> looks like we have those parts in stock
. . . we'll probably be able to ship this order out to you in 2 - 3 weeks
. . . our shipping department is a little behind."
HOW HARD IS IT TO GO GRAB 2 PARTS OFF A RACK, PRINT A LABEL, PUT IT IN A BOX, AND SET IT OUT FOR THE UPS MAN?!?!?! Hire two 15 1/2 year-olds, why don't you!!!

I have always been under the impression that they are a big company, one of the big names in the AR market, and they've been around for a really long time, so I would think that they should have their shit together.
When I call and talk to them, it sounds like they're pretty lazy about the way they do business. Talking to them on the phone, if you didn't know you were talking to Bushmaster, you would think you were talking to a company comprised of 3 guys that are trying to run a gun business out of their garage.
Does anybody have any similar experiences, or insight on BFI? Any Maine guys?
