Because I like people to directly answer a question instead of passively and round-about? Is it really so bad that I prefer a non-politician's answer? It's actually faster and simpler to say "No, they are not" than "They are as described" and it wouldn't require the potential customer to go back to the website and re-read the description and look for it. Saves you and the customer time. I also believe it would lead to less frustration if it was clearly marked as not having gone through those tests because people put value on and care about those specifications.
Before people jump on me, this is CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. It isn't pure whining. It isn't destructive (calling them names or yelling with no useful criticism). It is helpful to them to know how I (and other potential customers) will view such responses and product descriptions. This is the way you improve your business: Through criticism.
Also, this hobby is precisely not too difficult for me because I care about these things and ask these questions before buying. If I had purchased this BCG, I would've been dissatisfied. There is absolutely nothing wrong with knowing what one wants and asking questions to see if a specific product fits that want.
