My experience - everyone has a gripe. I think the glass is half full. We have too many enemies out there. These forums can be rough on manufacturers and dealers. I have seen it all in every corner of this forum, Facebook, Reddit, TOS. No need for it. The only part that seems to have fans only is LaRue. I have never understood that. I mean, the man is pretty abrasive. His guns are pretty good, but all I see in that forum is how wonderful everything LaRue is. Now, I have to say, I have shot their sub-$100 trigger, and shot the other guy's $200+ trigger, and with a friend, mixed it up, and I could not tell Pepsi from Coke. But, there is not one critical word spoken in that corner. Go to Geissele's industry page, and elsewhere, some pretty harsh words. Mostly constructive. Not too many bad things about scopes, except Sig. Which, by they way, is the same glass as Vortex, same factory, same insides on the 1-6x, but nobody likes Sig, and everyone loves Vortex. Come over to Colt, and every Colt dealer is a crook. Except the guy who works out of his garage and sells used parts, but never has them in stock. Everyone love him. I am sure I would too. But the other guys seem good as well.
Give the guys a break. Get to know them. They are having a tough time right now, with basically no inventory to sell. Be nice, and maybe that guy will take care of you. Complain about some little scratch on a Colt, and well, why?
