I am thinking of having my 20in HBAR Barrell turned down to A2 specs. Would I loose anything doing this?..Accuracy,Vel, and such??
This is my first Ar..Well since the Army anyway and then I was used to the A1 profile barrell and stock..
Thx

I sent my HBAR off to Kurt's Kustom (in these forums) to do that - cost is very reasonable and the work is fantastic.
The only thing you lose is WEIGHT - about 1 lb worth. Rifle now handles much better, MV is identical and I've noticed NO loss in accuracy.
Yes you can have your cake and eat it too!
