I have dealt with Aero Precisions quality control on their .308's and it SUCKS. I had an AERO factory matched assembled receiver, with a AERO BCG & RAINIER ARMS Match Grade barrel. AERO claimed that ONLY their BCG will work with their receiver set & forward assist: IT DIDN'T. The BOLT was not chamfered around the edges, was very sharp and angular and would shave the head & rim of brass IF IT PICKED IT UP and chambered it. Ejecting was very weak as the ejector spring was weak.
I sold off that mess and swore I'd never deal with AERO again a year ago.
I bought a BCG from LaRue of the EE and its some superior stuff. I might be tempted to sell it as its a spare for me SOLD in the EE to the next guy in line, and I am cleaning out my gunsafe of .308 AR's & focusing on other calibers.
