I got one of these already mounted with a carbine I purchased. I doubt that I would have ever bought one, but as it was already there, what the hell.
I would complete agree with most, it's a good plinker, and I can definately hit better with it at longer ranges than with the irons.
Quite frankly, I have not played with the BDC on it, leaving it on the 100 yard/meter setting, and holding high/low. I think I will play with the BDC tomorrow, and see if it walks up, and down consistently, just for grins.
I too have found the windage/elevation adjustments to be non-linear, and consistent zero isn't anything to bank on. Once it's dialed, it holds, but don't remove it, and don't bang around it too much, and you'll be fine.
I will say that I can make cans dance out to 100 yards with ease though
