Conversion intially had some issues with functioning due to interference between bolt stop and bottom of 22 bolt.
Removed some material from bottom of bolt, re shaped the radius and polished the bolt.
Range trip yesterday the rifle ran flawless through 150 plus rounds of mixed 22 , most of it 20 year old Armscor and Win Super X.
Rifle shoots almost to the exact same point of aim as the 12.5" 5.56mm barrel, no need to adjust the Aimpoint when switching back and forth.
All drills were shot rapid fire for time, so precision accuracy wasn't the main focus, however it appears the rifle should be capable of very good accuracy.
I am exceptionally pleased with the conversion, and am well on the way to recouping the expense through ammo savings.
For training from 5 to 50 yards, the Spikes conversion will be the primary tool to work on the fundamentals, with occasional sessions of full power ammo to validate the performance.
