I think I got the last 4 from Cheaper than dirt, they back order the other 6. I ordered the 6 from SG. I hope they are the same quality as the ones from CTD.

I've been using them for 2 years already, with no problems at all. I like them.

way to read and comprehend the original post guys.

what i am looking for are the "real deal" Scepter-brand MFC plastic gas cans.

the shipping costs on these puppies really dampens my enthusiasm for getting a few.
any idea where i can buy some locally (i.e., somewhere in NJ, north/central pref'd)???

ar-jedi,

We were trying to help you with alternatives, I can see that the shipping costs is not the only thing that really dampens your enthusiasm.

We use red for straight gas and black for gas/oil mix.

We've got lots of them where I work....problem is if I got caught with them I would get a real bad spanking.
Try "Sirplus" over by Rochester. Steve is a really great guy to buy from.www.sirplussupply.com/main.htm
