[ARCHIVED THREAD] - what about a 1919 group buy?

Hey, I have always liked the 1919 and was wanting to look into them more and see what damage it would cause my pocket book.

Is there a place that sells the parts kits and would anyone be open to a group buy on something like this?

I'd be in for one. Personally, I think I would rather buy a complete gun from a reputable company than build it from parts.Some of the kits I've seen looked horrible.
Ohio Rapid Fire, who posts here in the AK forums builds nice quality guns and there prices are reasonable.

I seen ORF kits in person, they were decent looking. The ones they built were nice.

Spend some time over at www.1919a4.com. The kits aren't that tough to put together, if you want to go that route and are somewhat skilled with tools. The 80% (semi-auto) side plates are thicker than the standard (full-auto) plates. As a result, you need to shave some metal off the right side of the bolt.

You'll spend more on a good tripod, belt loader and accessories than you will the gun.
