Congrats! I never could do the code requirements. I stopped at Tech.
It's been a while, but I used to have a blast VHF contesting. 6m and 2m ssb can be lots of fun at times. I actually came in 2nd place for NNJ area QRP in one ARRL VHF contest many moons ago. Missed 1st by like 100 points!

nice going. i used to operate 2m ssb with an ic-211. wish i had the high powered version now but Lori (wife and now EX-PASTRY chef) in grad school with the step daughter in college it will be 18 months till i start to look at ham goodies again. on eham.net i keep watching for one of the big two/three to come out with a 6&2 meter ssb rig but nothing yet.

congrats are in order -- that's a score to mount to the refrigerator.
now be a good consumer and go blow some money on some rigs.

ps:
if you are not too far north we can probably chat on 2M through one of the NNJ repeaters, and with 99% certainty through the carmel NY "PEARL" repeater.
