Does a trust have to be "registered" with the court in GA or, just notarized to be legal?
If yes, who does one get to “register” the trust? I call the courthouse and no one has the answer to this question.  Thanks |

Only needs to be registered with the state if it holds real estate property. Just get the Declaration notorized and you are done. Keep the original Declaration in your safe. Get a second copy of the Declaration OR print a copy of a Certification of trust, have the document notorized and send that with your Forms to ATF.
One notorized copy of Declaration or Certification per Form 1/4 packet (packet can include multiple Forms; such as two Form 4s for two NFA items). Mark |

Forgot to add, if you send a copy of the Declaration, just send the document UP TO but not including the Schedule A. No need to send Schedule A or anything that follows it.

One more question, I have stated in the "Schedule A" section the following:
"All NFA items legally owned by (my name), specifically : The firearms suppressor(s)." Will this statement make the grade? If not what should be listed..SN.. etc...what? Thanks, Doggbert556 |
