my son bought me 3 boxes of remington small pistol primers last week at specialty and they charged him almost 33.00 dollars per thousand.  Anyone else selling them that high or just them?  Just seems really high all of a sudden.

That's about $4 higher than what were paying on the western slope retail.

Typical, just about everything in Specialty is over priced. I think the only reason they can get away with it is they pretty much have a monopoly. There is no other gun store that even comes close to them in the Springs. I really think people don't mind paying a little extra for being able to get something NOW and not having order it.

Yea I was at Sportsman's Warehouse last Wednesday and their primer selection was down to nearly nothing.
