i live in southeast alabama and was wondering if there is any good shooting ranges around here and any good people to shoot with?

where exactly do you live?

I live in SE 'bama also, but it's a big area.  As has already been asked, can you narrow the area down a little?

As far as places to shoot in the Wiregrass...there are 4 that come to mind:

Outdoor:
Ashford: beside of the (formerly) Ace Hardware
Level Plains: Tri-State Gun Club

Indoor:
Daleville:  Ordnance Depot
Enterprise:  Lock-n-Load

I am not a good shooter, so I can't help you in that category.      

Sorry, I mis-read what you said.  You are looking for good people to go shooting with.  If you are in the area, I might fall into the "good person to shoot" with category but you will have to be the judge of that.

As I have said in other threads, Tri-State is members-only club unless you are participating in the matches/competitions on the weekends.  However, members may take guests at anytime.

The people at CAGC have always been very nice to me.  I have shot several matches ranging from IDPA to F-Class with them and they are always very nice and supportive.  

I have only been to EAGC one time.  But I plan to go back.
