Icy here, branches and trees starting to come down. Let's see how long before the power goes out.

Ditto here in the Hickory area. Lots of ice and the branches are bowing pretty good. Good day to keep the coffee pot hot and get into a good book. Saw a yote head into the tree line bout an hour ago. It's got to be nasty to see them on the move this time of day.

Shelby's losing power right now.
I'm in Chester SC at work and it's not as bad down here.
Lot of ice on the trees.
Drive home will probably be fun. I expect some downed trees.
We did run over one power line this AM.

I'm at RDU and it's cold and raining, someone turn on the snow. I hate rain and cold.

Intermittent bouts of really heavy rain, but mostly just a steady rain... There was ice this morning but it's gone now.

I actually don't mind it.

Well until the roads freeze.

well, My power is out at home so after I leave work no internet for me tonight unless the power comes back up later tnnight.
Pouring down rain right now.
Still cold as heck outside.
Gotta go home and fire up the kerosene heater.
Going to be a long night.

Well, here in High Point it was icy, cold and sleeting/raining this morning. I went out in it for day 3 of my AR rifle school for the Dept., but got there to find it cancelled. We have to be back there in the morning at 0830.

Our power went out for about an hour earlier, but on now. It has switched to rain, and now the temps are dropping, icing everything over again. Would be a great day or two to be off, with a few good movies and no responsibilities...

Oh well...

I was working a site in Pageland, SC today-it was actually pretty nice out, maybe 50 was the high-but there was a pretty nasty multi-vehicle wreck on 601 South just south of 74. That same site last wednesday night some small snow flurries were coming down.

Let's see what saturday and sunday brings us!

20 car pile up at the 40-421 split this morning. Bad juju. Had about 14 transported to ED's at Forsyth and Baptist.
