Thanks for such a short notice, I still have a couple of small parts for you and my FS2000 needs a workout....maybe next time.

this was 'club night' for us (two Wednesdays a month), it seemed open to general public too.

Anyhow, I brought my brand new 9mm and brand new 45

On the 9mm, the eotech got sighted in quick, and was simple to pick up and shoot.
Trigger is single and broke well, cav-comp did its job, with minimal flash but a little increased noise.
The crack from any 9mm was noticeable here as well.
The gun handles very very well with entry stock and cavarms hg's.
Sling was unnecessary on this little guy.
Iron sights were too close to my eye to really use well.
What the heck, it's just a fun/range gun anyway.....

...but only when it actually works.
which was not often.
had alot of the pictured malfunction.

brand new rifle with WWB 115gr 9mm fmj.
The only thing not perfect on it is that the shell deflector isn't snug (lost that pin).
Rounds were not bouncing back in, I had a buddy check....

and cases came out as such:

mags were all preban colt 20's, BHO functioned 100% every time.

Not sure if the mag block needs to be acdjusted or the ejector tuned somehow....

....but the star of the night was my 45!

It's a brand new build.. .. had trouble with rounds not ejecting with hand-cycling at home.

But at the range, she ran like a freaking swiss clock on steroids.
Guess 45 blowback guns need more power than my arm has to work!

She ate 230's without a hitch - aguilas FMJ and Winchester SXTs - from every mag I had.

recoil was ZEEEEEEERO.
the miculek worked extremely well and the side flash/noise was negligible.
muzzle just stayed on target.

my circle in circle irons worked great.

brass does fly pretty far to 5 o clock

the cavarms lower gives a reduced weight but did not increase recoil at all since its a great length.

Didn't need a sling - rifle was light and stable on its own

Masterful performance by all involved.

First twenty rounds after sight-in:

*All targets were at a mitchell-field induced distance of 720 ......... inches

here's the 45 again, she's unclear there...

Cavarms lower
Wolff heavy Spring, 45 buffer and hahn mag block all from slash
LPK is dpms
Upper was built by Str8shooter
RRA upper,
Oly barrel,
Oly b/.bc/ch,
Miculek comp permanently fixed (silver soder) for a total length of 16",
Midwest Industries Midlength 2nd Generation free floating quad rail
Knockoff LMT rear sight (from AIM Surplus)
POF front sight (true circle in circle aiming)

yeah I got ribbed for that last night too.

I attribute that to my horrible eyes.

I think that painting the front sight on my 45 will help.

Also, on the 9mm I can't make the reticle brighter or it'll star out on me (bad eyes again!).

I tried illuminating the targets, but even my 125lumen SF's didn't hep.

I'm still happy.

the target is dead, I'm alive

ETA: also I learned how to shoot with red dot sights and only recently have gotten into irons.

I'm not terribly good with either!

Now slap an acog on there.....

What are those things on your heads? Is that some kind of skull armor?

It's our AIPAC sat dishes.

We get our instructions on them from the elders.

Non-jews can never see it, but when no gentiles are looking they turn upside down to receive transmissions.

No safety on the Cav 45?

no it's on there at the range, the two apt pics are from the build era.

tough to get the selector in cav lowers.... saved it for last.

I can't tell you how much fun that rifle was.

That's a G3 in larue in my apartment.

At the range I tried a M900 and a M3X.

crikey I miss Virginia.

It was a tough decision, but it was an easy one in a way.

Long story.

I hope to own a summer property there one day somewhat more southernly than fairfax!

I don't think I could ever do what I did in Virginia ever again, but I do have some nice toys here!!!

Can i see more pics of that mount on ur AR? i'm thinking of adding an LED flashlight onto mine, but not sure which mount to use. I'm like 80% into larue because their stuff is just plain awesome, but the other 20% is telling me to get some pics first :-) haha

Yes... if you poke around the pistol caliber upper section you should be able to find it.
