My Form 1 was easy last summer.

Our city PD chief just asked for 24hrs to check me out then he signed off on me/my paperwork.

Don't have to register it with any agency.

In other words, no special regs here.  Just the standard stuff.  Unless his LE Chief balks at signing off.  Where will he be?

No idea on those 2 Qs.  I did a std Form 1.

If he lives in Bernalillo Cty, I doubt he'll have a problem getting Sheriff White to sign.  He's a good guy.

In NM, I usually prefer to set folks up with an LLC simply because it is easy, simple & only costs $50. That is it. No annual reports required, no requirement to file any form of tax info, nothing. $50 & you are done for life. I am certain that you can draft the Articles of Organization for him given your own background.

Fill out the forms, submit all to the NMPRC with a check for $50 & you are done. HTH.
