Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - radar detectors? legal?

I'm from the liberal cesspool known as NYC.  Radar detectors are legal here to own and use, and as far as I know, they are legal everywhere except Washington DC to posess, and Virginia to use.

Going to be traveling from AZ to Vegas this weekend and thinking about bringing along my Valentine One for the trip.  Just don't wanna get it taken away.  They are legal in NV/Vegas correct?

Completely legal

Wife got a ticket a few months ago on the 215.  She was in a hurry and didn't plug in the detector and got pinched by NHP.  The Trooper berated her more for not plugging in the detector than for speeding.
