Any shops in the metro detroit area stocking palmetto lowers?   I know i can order one online but was curious if any local dealers stocked them.

Haven't seen any PSA lowers around, but Double Action in Madison Heights sells Detroit Gun Works lowers for 99 dollars.  A bought one and so did my friend.  They look nice, and the machine work looks good too.  His is assembled, and all the components appear to be fit well, and he says it went together without a hitch.  When I got mine there was a wait list to get them, don't know if that's still the case or not.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for... but for a fairly inexpensive lower that's locally made and locally available, they seem to fit the bill.

Thanks, I am not the one buying, ( I know for the most part a lower is a lower is a lower)  My wor buddy is building a rifle and wants it to match.  But thanks for letting me in on the good deal.
