Hmm... I see at least one good spot.

FWIW my bike, Crazy Jane, wears her BFL on the battery (no cover).

that obnoxious sounding, goofy ass looking, P.O.S. is gone after today (if you have one of these, apologizes, but I hate this thing); My new exhaust showed up yesterday, in a 4ft Yoshimura box.

I was considering putting a small BFL on the back of my helmet. Its solid flat black so it might not look too bad. Nice bike btw, hopefully the mod bug won't hit you as hard as it did to me when I got my 600rr

Motorcycles are dangerous. I know from personal experience.  I climbed on my neighbor's bike when I was 5 yrs old. It fell over on me & I broke my arm.

Motorcycle should be banned. At least one with those things on the end of the exhaust, large-capacity gas tanks & the bars that extend outside the side that allow someone to control them better.

DUDE, Watcher I didn't know that ur a rider! is that an R1? looks shhhweet! I was thinking of trying to find one when I was originally looking but decided there a little too hard edged for me, so I went GSXR. yea man when it warms up, ping me we can def go for a cruise as long as you promise not to make me eat dust

I joined GSXR and GIXXER .com, kind of funny those sites have a "Gun" forum and some if the stuff that gets posted there is pretty funny, esp the AR related questions.

and send me some more pics of ur ride.

UGA,

Its an R6 not an R1.  I got lazy and used a Google photo for the bike.  Only difference is the exhaust.  I have been lazy but need to change the front tire and install new sprockets and chain.  Because it is so cold I am only doing rides around the block once a month.  I used to commute every day, no matter the weather condition.  It was EFFING cold some days!

I am debating on a 458 socom upper or parts for the bike.

We Just got my wife her first bike for an early Christmas present.  Genuine Scooters were on Clearance at Earl Small's Harley Davidson.  We were looking at them and the Sales Manager noticed my 1911 peeking out from under my jacket.  We ended up talking guns for about 15 minutes and then he cut us a deal I couldn't refuse.  Hundreds below MSRP even after tax!

I'm not a Harley fan.  I've even been known to hate on them from time to time.  That bike however, is awesome.  Did you do the work yourself?

Thanks!  I installed and/or made everything myself.  I had it dyno tuned at K-otic Kustoms in Woodstock.

I work at a sheetmetal fabrication shop.  Made the knuckle footpegs from 1/2" stainless plate.  Used 11 gauge SS for the 1 1/2" tank lift and relocation bracket for ignition and coil. Not pictured is a SS treadplate rear fender cap and detachable sissy bar.  Painted it with Krylon ultra flat and had a lady at the flea market design the vinyl for the tank and front fender.

Lick's Cycles super narrow drag bars
Biltwell 10" struts
Avon grips
front blinker relocation kit
Lepera seat

I've had it for 2 years and have averaged over 1000 miles/month.  It is dependable and gets me to work everyday.  I think a lot of the dislikes for Harley stems back when they were owned by AMF.  I had a '73 Ironhead and it was everything bad that you've ever heard about HD.  Leaked oil, fouled plugs, and vibrated parts off when going down the road.  I went with Suzuki after that for a couple of years and decided to give Harley another shot.  I'm glad I did!  You just can't beat the classic lines of a Sportster.

And you'll luv this, I just got off the phone with Yoshimura USA, and I special ordered an Exhaust from Japan, that's typically not sold here  (shoullda called my uncle instead, and had him send it over )
