I'm not a Harley fan. I've even been known to hate on them from time to time. That bike however, is awesome. Did you do the work yourself?
Thanks! I installed and/or made everything myself. I had it dyno tuned at K-otic Kustoms in Woodstock.
I work at a sheetmetal fabrication shop. Made the knuckle footpegs from 1/2" stainless plate. Used 11 gauge SS for the 1 1/2" tank lift and relocation bracket for ignition and coil. Not pictured is a SS treadplate rear fender cap and detachable sissy bar. Painted it with Krylon ultra flat and had a lady at the flea market design the vinyl for the tank and front fender.

I've had it for 2 years and have averaged over 1000 miles/month. It is dependable and gets me to work everyday. I think a lot of the dislikes for Harley stems back when they were owned by AMF. I had a '73 Ironhead and it was everything bad that you've ever heard about HD. Leaked oil, fouled plugs, and vibrated parts off when going down the road. I went with Suzuki after that for a couple of years and decided to give Harley another shot. I'm glad I did! You just can't beat the classic lines of a Sportster.
