Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - moving to the Houston area

Hey guys I'll be moving to Houston soon for dental school and wondered if there were any free rifle ranges nearby like we have here in Oklahoma.  There is a public shooting range that you can use at your own risk as long as you have a hunting license in Lexington, OK.

What part of town will you be living in?

NW, SE, inside the loop, etc?

Different public ranges (for a fee) are available.  There are a few membership private ranges.  (fees also of course)

Let us know when you are settled.

I'll be in the university apartments located near the medical center downtown.

I'll be moving in Aug.  I'll let ya'll know when I arrive, thanks for the help.
