did a search over there. his last post was 2004 according to the search engine.
starting to think i have been screwed yet again by another "freind" in the gun business. hopefully i am wrong, but after the run i had with tippie let's just say i am snake bit. |

Oh no.
Not Tippie. I met the man once... he was at a range in GA test-firing a customer's gun. He had it laid sideways on his lap pulling the trigger. Rounds were hitting less the 20 feet out from the benches, digging trenches in the dirt on a 100 yard rifle range. People were looking at him, but they didn't say anything to him. I suppose that's because he was still "the man" at that point in time. I wondered at that point what kind of guy he was... OTOH, his wife seemed like a genuinely nice, agreeable individual. I'm sorry to hear that it looks like Mguntony has disappeared on you. You have had some SHITTY luck lately. Is there any way to reclaim your $200 on the tax stamp for a product that has not been delivered, or use that stamp on another silencer? Probably not but just a thought... |

mguntony almost died of cancer a while back. He may have died or is seriously ill again. He's a good guy, I would bet he is in bad health. I have not seen him or heard from him in 18 months or so. I used to live about 4 miles from him. So, my bet his health has gotten him again. He had a bone marrow transplant about 3 years ago............I hope he is well.

i talked to him last about 2-3 months ago. he was ok but still not in great shape. his tv show seems to be doing well. |

Beer Slayer, if you ask about him on Subguns, you will get some responses, I'm sure. He seemed like a nice guy to me, but I never bought anything from him.
Don't know what kind of responses you'll get, but I'm sure you'll get quite a few. I'm sure someone has the skinny on what's going on with him. |

update....
got a vm from him today. his cancer is back and he is back in treatment again.  he said he called the ATF and my paperwork was denied due to a lack of info. He stated they couldn't find anything wrong with what was done but it must be resubmitted. kinda tells me due to the length of this situation they probably lost it. Hopefully they didn't lose the record of my payment. he is sending me the paperwork to resubmit. hopefully this time it will go through. I'll be keeping a copy of it this time. mike |

I'm glad you heard from him, and saddened to hear of the recurrance. I have only met him a few times, but he has always struck me as a pie of a guy. May this be over soon and favorable for all involved.

Had to jump in on this one. I have known Tony for a decade He was around and help us when Jon and I started the FOP Range Inc. He is good to go if its in his control If its out of his control , its in Gods hands I've trusted him with a lot more than a few bills in the past.
