You had a baby in your arms while looking at an AK!!
Are you crazy?!
How can you examine an AK with a child in your hands. It's dang near impossible to pull the bolt back with one hand.
I believe you were right. She would have put a good spin on what ever you would have said.
Oooo those dang evil AKs.

Yes I believe you should talk to her  about it. Like I said in the other forum even if your face wasn't shown she might have wrote your plate number and report you for being a bad dad.

So how exactly does the rise in legally obtained RIFLES concern law enforcement? Since admittedly the criminal would likely have to STEAL the weapon from somewhere before they used it in a crime? Maybe if more people owned AKs, less criminals would risk breaking into homes that might have them, for fear of being shot in the process.

If anything they should be educating the owners and strongly encouraging them to lock them up when they're not present, and getting training in how to use them on a low life thief breaking into their home when they are there.

Yeah, I like the way she pointed out 'while we're here... HOLDING A BABY IN HIS ARMS!...' like anyone not visually impaired couldn't see it on the screen already, like somehow the baby and the rifle were just gonna spontaneously combust for no damn reason just because they were within reach of each other.

I also like the fact that an ak 47 round can 'go through a car'... hmmmm, now would that be front to back through the engine block, firewall, interior, trunk wall, and tunk lid? or more like through the passenger and driver's side windows? suddenly the ak47 round is a rocket propelled grenade, let's just create panic in the streets already.

And the other comment about the robbery chase where the vehicle 'stopped to fire FULL rounds at officers' as opposed to what, fractions of rounds, a fragment or two? What the hell is she talking about?

The only thing I'm really pissed off about is that they claim you can shoot AKs at the Sportsman in Rock Hill, I'm a member there, and no one told me I could fire high power rifles in there, I thought it was more of a pistol range. They don't advertise that capability as far as I know. And how is it that fragments were coming back to hit the shooter, I don't see the physics in that, given the angle of the backstop, someone please enlighten me.

I bet she was talking about the shell caseings bouncing off of the side walls. but made it sound like it was the bullet itself. Anyways if it was doing that I believe hey wouldn't allow them to shoot them there in that range.

Lol, I didn't think about the casings, maybe that's what she meant, if so bleh (where's the AR puke emoticon?)

Yeah, if ricochet fragments are coming close to the shooters, you'd think someone would put a stop to that. That whole piece is BS.

I happened to be watching wcnc the other morning when they aired this piece of trash.
I agree with the others, it was specifically designed to cast the Ak and anyone wanting one in a bad light.
Anyone going into an indoor range for the first time (as I'm sure was her's) is going to be a bit overwhelmed while standing next to something like an AK since it slings brass everywhere and getting pummeled by the pressure wave can be a bit intimidating, but I've never known any bullet fragments to be deflected back ever!

I attribute this story to the liberal media gearing up for a gun grabbing dem in the whitehouse in 08' and the subsequent attack on our rights via another assault weapons ban which will undoubtedly follow.

If I were you I would email the moonbat and let her know your disdain for her lame story and utelizing you and your child to make her invalid and baseless point.
In the meantime, I suggest everyone buy an AK if you don't have one already and plenty of ammo.
Next join the NRA because those dues help pay for lobbyists who along with a few staunch Republicans on Capitol Hill are the only thing that stands between the socialists and your 2nd Amendment rights.

She said bullets AND shell casings were both bouncing off the BACK wall.

My AK's eject casings pretty far, but never that far or straight forward.

depends on the ammo. Wolf ammo bounces off the skid plates we use at our indoor range.

notice that when they were talking about the police shootout, they cut to a scene of a pistol mag on the ground, not an AK mag

also "easily converted to full auto"... kinda like how my car can easily be converted into a bomb huh?

Last time I checked, an automobile is "easily converted" into a dangerous land missle about 5 million times per night after happy hour but they are not pulling budweiser off the shelf at Bi-Lo.  Big FU to the media.

I am in Philly 4 days a week on business, I'll take an AK armed white, baby toting male before I drive through a bad part of Philly with a police escort under the current gun control here.
