Sam's Clubs have decent safes for about $900 if I recall. Check the Sam's in Northlake. I saw a bunch somewhere else that didn't expect too, I'll try and remember where.

Gander Mountain has some nice sales on safes every now and then.... I would check out the Grand opening at the Joliet Gander if your near... I think it's to open in the next week or two. They had some for $500 that looked real nice in the past..
