Iv been seeing on the news and on forums like these that the gulf coast states. Especials Louisianna and Mississipe that the people their and the contractors that are their to HELP restore the effected areas are starting to heavily arm themselves. With rifles, handguns, shotguns and i even heard their is some people shooting others like they where snipers out in those states. thats horrible dont you guys think. just thought id leave a quick little post about that

Have gun, will travel. I've heard this situation referred to as the biggest cold turkey rehabilation experiment in recorded history. They need drugs. They need $ to buy drugs. They will steal to get $ to buy drugs. As the need increases the risks they are willing to take also increases. Isolated rural upper middle class neighborhood, lots of stuff to steal, no police prescence, no phone, you better be able to take care of yourself. Not but one way to do it. Lots of backwoods out here for things to disappear forever.

It happended after Andrew in Miami.  Someone was shooting at the people trying to restore services so much that utility workers would not work at night and they had to have armed gaurds during the day.  I did not hear of anyone being held responsible for the shootings.
