How do I take one of these apart?  I want to remove the buffer tube, but thought I would ask before I tore it up.

I tried a search, but didn't find anything.

Thanks

if you just want to remove the buffer tube, get one of the tube wrenches, unscrew the little snug ring next to the reciever, then unscrew the tube outta the receiver, oh if its factory, some are loctited in and you'll have to use a band wrench to twist it out.

?????
The tube doesn't spin.  It's a 4 position stock.  I think the lever at the bottom that allows you to slide the stock back and forth must be removed first??

I don't know.  If all else fails, I'll use my sledge-o-matic on it.

have you removed the snug ring that up against the receiver, look where the tube screws into the reciever, you'll see the little ring with 4 slots and holes evenly spaced on it, that must be loosened then the tube will screw outta the reciever, its a one piece deal that the stock slides on.

I've already removed it from the lower receiver.  Now I want to take the tube out of the stock.  The tube doesn't spin out of the stock.  I'm assuming the lever at the bottom must be removed to take it off.

OOOOKKKKKKKK! I see the light, yeah man, you knock the roll pin out, pull the lever and rod out and the stock should slide right off.

IM acman, I think he's taken his apart to paint it recently, he might have a pic of how to do it.

If you hold the latch open all the way, you should be able to slide the stock body off the tube.
