"Driving schools" are retarded. For a few hundred bucks they didn't teach me anything that I hadn't read in the free pamphlet or that my dad hadn't yelled at me.

I think they should send every resident of this state back east for driver training. Detroit, DC, Chicago, Boston... any large city east of the Mississippi will do.

Cincinnatti or Atlanta will do. They both are up n' down winding mach-3 race tracks from hell. Morning rush hour in Cinci' is crazy. You'll get passed on the right by a lady doing 85-90 and applying makeup whilst driving with her knees. |

Cinci isn't so bad. They have a lot of guard rails and tunnels to keep you on track if you decide you don't need to hold the wheel. Kinda like an amusement park ride where you pretend you are steering but the rails just guide you.

I live close to cincinnatti,its not to bad. Atlanta is the like a roller coster,just shut your eyes and pray for it to end. |

DC area traffic is pretty bad. Not as thick as it is in the Seattle region now, but the drivers in DC are just plain jerks. At least here, you can find people using their turn signals, and actually waiting to change lanes. And people letting them in. In DC it's just a quick look if that, and the car is moving over.
That instructor might end up (I hope) facing some federal charges as well for those medals. How did the dept of licensing not pass on that the guy must have been esentially conviced of a federal felony. To get a dishonorable, you pretty much have to be convicted by a court martial, which regardless of what you did to get there, is a federal felony conviction. |
