Hope everyone's doing well-
Anyone know of a good gunsmith within an hour or two of Quantico area, specializing in 1911 problems?  Prefer not to ship, if possible
Thanks
Derek

Tim Bacus out of Gilberts Small Arms in the Springfield/Newington area is excellent.

Email sent.

What kind of problems are you having?  There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that might be able to give you some pointers.

Sandy Garret of Northern Virginia Gun Works is probably your best bet.  His prices arent cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.  I've had him work on everything from a CMP Garand to a Sig 228.  From what I remember he only works on Springfields, Colts and Kimbers...maybe other 'higher end' brands now.  I just pulled this off google: (703) 644-6504
