Ok let's just assume the AWB is gone here in a few days. Anyone know of a good gunsmith in MD that I can get to thread a barrel and install a flash suppressor and bayo lug?

Am I better off just sending it to ADCO?

Thanks for looking...

I don't have the tools to thread the barrels, but if enough of you want it done I can get a set.
I've built quite a few uppers so the bayonet lug sight tower is no problem.

Everyone needs to buy their own parts since I've sold out of my extras.

I'm interested in having the Mini-Y taken off of my Bushy and replaced with a Phantom. Maybe new sight tower with Lug ? Anyone else ?

I'd like a flash sup. on my AR, what do you think you would charge for that? I'd rather keep the gun in MD than ship my upper to someone who will take a few weeks to do it.

I've seen people say that they cut the barrel to 14.5 and then perm. attach the FS to make 16", but I don't want to shorten my barrel & lose velocity. Anyone else have a FS on top of a 16"?

I do not have the means to cut barrels or remove perminantly attached brakes.
I'll ask around the show this weekend to see if anyone is handling this and report back.

I am also looking to get my muzzle breaks replaced with A2 flash sup.'s Can anyone tell me the name of a good gunsmith? Or should we get together somewhere, pitch in some money for tools, andget it done ourselves?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Seems like it would be a pain in the ass to remove. Mine is pinned and welded, I think, and only 14.5. I don't even know if there would be enough material left to meet the 16in min. Maybe better off just picking up another upper. I kinda wanted an A3 version anyway

Sent mine away to ADCO. Was delivered to him today apparently.

Would be interested in getting this done locally if at all possible.
