Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - gettin my first house...

It looks like I'll probably be gettin a house by early next year. My friend is movin up and I will hopefully be buying his directly from him. His house is in Richmond county, right now I'm in Henrico. My question is, is it easier to get a CCW in Richmond compared to Henrico? In Henrico it is so much trouble that I havn't bothered to get mine yet. Also, how is NFA in Richmond? What about taxes? Thanks.

Why are you having problems in Henrico regarding obtaining your CHL?  I thought the VCDL straightened them out.

When I lived in Henrico there was no problem obtaining permit.

At one point one of their forms said if it took more than 45 days they were no liable, but I think this was resolved also.

Specifically, what problem have you encountered or heard of?
