people in ga. went nuts over them. my local wal mart had 5, but at the time my wife had lost her job and i couldn't see spending the money. wonder if they will come back. guys on the outdoors trader were trying to resell them for $100+

ALSO the manager in wal mart told me the sig ar15 would be black friday material. price now $917 reduced to $867

stopped in last night to stock up on .22 LR......ALL gone, but some .22WMR

I got one, but the door buster sake was over and i paid $40. I asked if they were going to do it again this year and so far no one knew. Haven't seen it listed in the bfads.com either. I would like to pick up another one though.

also Dick is settling a Troy rifle for around that same price. Looks like comes with their alpha rail. And you can buy it now. Don't have to wait for Friday....

note to those operators who actually own one. have they held up pretty good?

i looked them over pretty good and pushed and pulled on one and obviously they were not pelican, but heavier than the normal plano (or whatever flimsy walmart brand)

I got two, though haven't subjected it to much. Don't use them for the average range trip, more for transport on trips where my rifle comes with me (most trips).

I'm ashamed to say I have hardly been to the range this year so they have seen little use. My biggest concern is how well the foam will hold up. It would be nice to get some custom cut closed cell foam for them.

I bought one the sunday afterwards, it was still listed as the black friday price. I was honestly surprised is was still on the shelf.

I nabbed 3 of em.

They fit perfectly between the wheel wells of my 4runner, and the ribs on top and bottom of them interlock, so no sliding around.

I haven't custom cut any of the foam yet, and it has actually held up fine. Someday I'll dedicate one or two to specific platforms. It's a little more flimsy than my pelican case. But they are significantly more stout than the cheapy ones.

If they do the sale again, I'd grab more. Even at $50-60 a piece it's worth it.

I have one that I have been using with my AR. The case and foam has held up real well. I told my wife if she should see them again tonight to get at least 3 more if they are on sale.

Bought 3 and gave 2 as gifts. They have held up great. Imean its not throw it off a building pelican tough but my fil supposedly flew with multiple times and brags about it.
