Who's in? Who's for beer? Who wants to buy my car?
If the youngens are going to be there, speak up BEFORE the night before the show so we can arrange where to go that might not be inside a bar! |
Yes, there were four of us.......... After conversing with CavVet, it looks like we are on for Saturday. C_J, if you are going then we will do the restaurant instead of the bar. No problem. There is hardly anyone there at noon anyway so we'll just push a couple of tables together if we need to. |
I'm free to attend.....finally for the first time. Both days are free for me.
1st tier people will be there on Saturday
everyone else.. Who cares! |
Phil in his finest holiday cheer! |
You ain't seen nothing yet! I will not submit to this xmas insanity. serenity now!!!!!!! and give me some beer damnit. |
There will be mucho beer a-flowing on Saturday. So who wants to buy my car? |
Screw that, there is beer flowing now damnit. |
I'll be at the show, not sure which day yet. If it's Sat, I'll join you guys. If it's Sunday, just leave your tab open for the rest of us, 2WP.
So it looks like these will be attending so far....
2wP Phil-in-Seattle C_J headpulper KA3B Da_Bunny? bns717us? Anyone else? For those of you who don't know the drill, we usually go to the show first then meet at TGIFridays at about noon. It is just up the hill from the fairgrounds at the mall across the parking lot from Sears (just past Lovers Package!). Since C_J claims he is going we will grab a table instead of meeting at the bar. The other option is Red Robin but that is usually already crowded by noon. |
So where am I going to meet you guys at the gun show?
I know what Phil looks like, I doubt he would recognize me though. Do we have to wear flair at TGIF's? |
We don't really meet AT the gunshow. To hard to walk around and look at stuff trying to stay together. Just head up the hill to TGIFs around 11:45 or so.
WTF? |
If you don't understand that reference then the beers are going to be on you on Saturday buddy! If you need a hint for the reference go watch some episodes of Kung Fu and perhaps you will be enlightened. |
So Goatboy says that the site is going to be down off and on all weekend. Just in case we are no longer able to communicate, BE AT THE TGIFidays AT NOON AFTER THE GUNSHOW ON SATURDAY 01/03/04!
The only excuse to not be there is if it snows several feet and Tom Ridge determines that it would be for our own better interest to stay home! |
I am in! I am in! So how can I recognize you guys? Just look for the largest and the rowdiest [:D} group in the restaurant? Looking forward to be there! |
Just show up 15 minutes late and look for the 2 or 3 guys that are already there and have an $80 bar tab already. That's us! |
See, now that was funny!. BTW...does anyone know if the guy that makes the MEGA lowers/uppers will be there?....If so I may have to call in sick to work... |
I don't honk the horn or flash my lights.
I flash the G-Lock wit da 29 round clip out da winno at-chu fool!
I've seen that G-lock |
The guy makes them I doubt, but Carrico sells them and he is attending as of an hour ago.. |
Hey, I was there last time, but I didnt see any of you guys. Did one of you have a lifted Ranger? Anyway, after 15 minutes and a couple trips through the place, I didnt see anybody I knew, so I went to the show.
I hear those Mega pieces are quite nice. They've got some people over at Olympic worried.
I have a MEGA lower and it easily compares in workmanship to Armalite, RR, and Bushmaster (of which I own all 3). Though in fairness, it sits in my safe in stripped form awaiting a worthy project.
I wish they would sell them at the monroe show, I need 2 lowers and a flat top upper, I cant get out of work that day...I guess I will just have to get the guy at the pawnshop in Carnation to hook me up....
How is that pawn shop in Carnation? I heard about it when looking up FFLs on auctionarms, but Ive never been there.
"Stretch" down in Carnation is a decent guy, cant recall his real name. Posts on subguns some, as "SubVet". When I was working in Samammish I stopped in to BS a couple times. As for Carricoz, it wouldnt be worthwhile for him to do Monroe unless Oly stopped doing it. Monroe is a low traffic/no money show unless yer selling beef jerky I guess.
We didn't know you were going to show up there last time so we were in the bar. We will grab a table in the dining room area this time for ya though! |
added since original list |
Damn nice guy, He does $25.00 Xfers, I did get a AR-15 from him once, He said it was a Eagle Arms, but it really was a Essential Arms, but the price was good, so I picked it up anyway. |
Where is TGIF's?
Can't find it on Mapquest, the address that is on TGIF's webpage doesn't match anything in it for Puyallop. |
From the fairgrounds head straight up the hill. At the very top of he hill is a stoplight and you have to turn left or right. In front of you will be the south hill mall. Turn left and follow the road tot he other side of the mall. It is right across the parking lot from Sears. There is a lovers package and a red robin and a olive garden right by it. |
