Divorce is something I know a little about. I have been practicing "Catch and release" The lawyer who kicked my butt [my wifes lawyer] Dan Herring. He is in Morgan Green & Rosenblatt.[old cinema building on Weschester]

Molly Howard.  I have, luckily, never needed her services but many of my friends have and report good things about her.  I've known her for several years and respect her (well, as much as you can respect a lawyer)

When I went thru my divorce 11 years ago.......I told my ex that she better hope that the judge didn't give her half of everything because I was gonna take the chainsaw and cut everything in half and ask her which half she wanted............and I was serious. The only thing we fought over was the 4 wheeler. When I pulled out the title and said  who's name is on it and who made the payments on it she shut up. I would have throwed a match to it and burnt it before I let her have it.
And if the guns are an issue.........you can't just give them to somebody. You have to sell them before any paperwork is filed. $1 a gun is a good price.....when everything is final and you get your copy of the divorce decree that was filed at the courthouse, then go any buy your guns back for $1.

Good luck brutha............alot of us have been down this road that you traveling. And I can say.........that it does work out in the end no matter how gloomy it looks right now.

I did my own divorce in NC... It was pretty cheap considering......

We had no Kids,, and hated each other. And had already sold our house.... So there wasn't much left to fight about. The beauty of it is that if you settle everything,, or make her think you have,, untill the hearing,,,  and can stand to keep nodding "yes Bitch,," It's really pretty easy. I did mine in Davidson County with documents I copied from the public library...

I had to take a few afternoons off of work to go to the courthouse, and a morning for the actual hearing, it was really easy.  

I feel for you man,, I understand. Mine was no fly by night kind of thing,. I was with that (bitch) chick from the time I was 16 untill I was 27. Almost half of my life...

If you still care about the emotional side of it,,, only time can make that better. But you have to reach inside and get cold to make sure you don't come out ruined from it.

Financially and emotionally.  

All jokes aside,,, you might be on the edge man......


Make sure you take a step back and remember that it's OK to be really fuc**** selfish about the rest of your life.

This too shall pass.  (even though it friggin sucks for everyone...)
