Ouchy!!! The gun is ok, right?!? Will it be hard shooting all week with your foot elevated like that?

How did the Sat. shoot go, or did you miss it?

what a shame, I'm glad you're all right....

you best be getting rid of that rifle, once it's attacked it's owner, no telling what it will do later...

I run a re-hab for wayward rifles... I'd be glad to take it off your hands and put it thru my program, no cost to you, other than shipping.

Look on the bright side:  Your rifle wasn't damaged, thanks to your toe stopping its fall in a relatively gentle manner.  (Well...not gentle for your toe!)

Heal fast and get back out to the range as soon as possible.  

Take full advantage of the situation and demand more than your usual share of pampering by your Significant Other.   Do the 'pity poor me' routine as much as you can get away with it.

It could become some of the nicest weeks you've had in a while, if you play your cards right!
