Very early, Russian, unissued, might fetch a high dollar.  Still seems like a lot.  

lol @ carved mosin... I see those online from time to time with a replacement stock called a custom hand carved stock

Maybe for a NIB Albanian and definitely for a North Korean or an East German.  But otherwise, NO.

Dude says he paid $550 for it.  So just becasue he overpaid, doesn't mean anyone else should he can recoup his loss.

Bubba probably paid the same that all of us did back in the day...  Kinda like the morons that sell mosins at gun shows for hundreds of dollars, thinking how clever they are for discovering aimsurplus on the internet.

I am kinda bummed, there was iirc 450 rds of 38sp for $100. Wife said no got to finish Christmas shopping. now its gone.

My buddy said he was gonna buy it, supposedly Win/Rem mix, factory loads.  Hopefully, it was he that picked it up.
