He soon left and nothing bad happened but i just thought it was fun, imagine 3 rifles bump firing, neighbors probably thought it was WW III happening lol ok just thought id share

It wasn't the bump fire, he wanted to see what a 30rd clip looked like.

Don't be surprised, it tends to happen when things get really fun while several people are shooting. After a while they tend to get used to it though, and the cops wont come by as often.

I'd go down to a friend's house down the road, and when we'd shoot, their neighbors would call the police. The neighbors had horses and were afraid the sound would spook them. They had the police shut down a private fireworks show before, and the next year they got a township permit. The police came, ready to run someone in, then they turned around and left when they saw a copy of the permit taped to the mailbox. This time, it wasn't fireworks.

The neighbors called the cops, saying we were shooting off illegal fireworks. When the cop showed up, they were telling us the neighbors reported we had illegal fireworks. Before we could tell them otherwise, the cop says, "hey, is that an Enfield Mk (whatever) jungle carbine?" He rambled on about his grandfather's and we proceeded to show him the Bushmaster and the 10/22 we had out, and the fat tree trunk we used as a backstop. He told us there isn't any township ordinance against what we were doing, and told us to be safe. We asked him if he wants to run through a mag or two, and told us he had get back to work.
