orrrr are they just banned by saying instead of two of the "evil features" it only has to have one?

the reason i ask is because then technically if you remove the pistol grip and put one of those rifle grips for AR's (i dont have al ink sorry, its a handle grip that "doesnt protrude conspiculously from the stock" )wouldnt it be legal to register in nyc?? Again I dont have the law in front of me, im just looking for loopholes.

Also I don't remember if it said something about having the ABILITY to accept magazines above 10, or just actually using magazines above 10. because if that was the case then the ruger 10/22 would not qualify..

any way, if they are banned by name then just forget everything i said.

There are no loopholes, no AWs and no detachable mags or feeding devices of more than 5 rounds on rifles and shotguns.

oh no detachable mags....

so does that mean i can't register my ruger 10/22???? because its an "assault rifle"

if so, thats ridiculous, but not unexpected from NY(C)

When I lived in the city I was told by long arm permit division that I had to modify my Marlin 60 tube (it holds 15 lr) so that it could only hold 5 rounds. Otherwise I had to remove it from the city. This was back in the mid 90's
