I'm going to Pine Barrens tomorrow --- cleaner, safer and much much nicer than Calverton.

I'm leaving for Ft Dix in a few minutes.

We definatly need to have an other Calverton shoot with a big turnout. It's been too long since I've seen the LI crew!

Hey Mark,
Gates are open to you anytime Im up at paulverton, lol ! Its nothing fancy but the rangemaster allows double taps, rapid fire and just smiles at bump firing !!! Plus I ll bring you out a cold one !
Did Mr. Kelly deliver that quad as promised ? I spoke to his partner at work and he says he will bust his chops about having it for 2 yrs now.
I have never been to huntington , is it any good ? I want to sight in the new 308, can I do that at Huntington ? Any special rules or regs ? How much ?
I may change plans , Huntington is closer.
Please let me know.
Paul

The Pine Barrens range is a private range about 10 minutes south of Calverton at Suffolk County Airport.

I can't say enough good things about it.  The facilities are excellent, it's never crowded, they have a working Hogan's Alley and handgun plate racks, and there is a 100 and 200 yard rifle as well as multiple handgun pits.  There is also a raft of special events including 3 gun matches etc.  The best part is, if you see a member shooting unsafely, if you report the incident, it will be dealt with.

The web site is www.lipsa.net -- new memberships should be open again early next year.
