Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - anyone 300m?

i noticed that the MMRA (Minnesota Rifle& Revolver Assn.) has the international 300m as one of the events they sponsor matchs for.  i first ran accross this a few years ago, and thought it looked fun.  any of you arfcommers ever shot 300m competition?  if so, what does it take to get started?  it would appear to me that an AR would be a pretty good set-up for it.
